I’m the founder of Tikvah, and I’ve always been deeply moved by people’s stories. Human beings are complex, resilient, and endlessly fascinating. My training in counselling work has left me with a deeper respect for the individual journeys that each person is walking.
It is so valuable to have someone walk beside you with care and curiosity. It’s a privilege to offer support to my clients as they detangle the unhelpful stories they tell themselves. As they find strengths and resources within themselves to find flourishing. it is so central to my work to sit with you in the process, help you find steadiness, and move with you toward hope and peace.
Hi, I’m Mel
My Approach
My counselling approach is person-centred grounded in the belief that you hold the insight and capacity needed for growth and healing. My role is not to give advice or direction, but to create a supportive space where those inner strengths can emerge. Together, we’ll gently explore your story, uncover what lies beneath the surface, and move toward greater clarity and peace.
I’m passionate about mental health education and helping people rediscover the “gold” within — the resilience, hope, and potential that often sits just out of sight. If you’re ready to find your way through the maze and reconnect with joy and meaning, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
